We guarantee that all shipments are insured during their transport by the basic liability insurance of an international carrier. In addition, XCARGO and CARGO PRAGUE have concluded ‘Freight Liability Insurance’ amounting to CZK 5,000,000 (approximately € 180,000). If there is visible damage to the goods, always (and in the presence of the driver, if possible) determine the extent of the damage and take the best possible photos of a particular finding. All the details are important, such as the location of the goods in the vehicle or the way they are secured against movement. Write down a damage report, detailing the number of damaged pallets/cartons/colli. Possible non-compliance of the number of pieces with the attached documents or missing documents make it impossible to check the goods. It must be signed by both parties. It is necessary to keep the damaged goods for the needs of an insurance company. The report must be sent by email immediately. We will take immediate care of assessing the situation and taking appropriate measures.
